a Photographic Journey by Meryl

My Life

This section relates periods or chapters associated with steps in my emotional life.  For me, recovery has evolved with no definitive start date and no foreseeable end—it’s an ongoing process.  Like a work of art, I find that I’m a work in progress.  So as this blog unfolds, I’ll write and post these chapters here as I recall them through the posting of my photographs.  It’s unlikely that they’ll emerge in chronological order as my emotional memory skips around much like my dreams.

How raw will this get? You’re sticking your neck (and self esteem) out there. I do love courage. I await your heartfelt revelations. Lance

    Dear Meryl,
I knew you were an exceptional woman when we met in Antigua. I have been following your photographs ever since; look forward to seeing what evolves. Courageous is the adjective.

    with admiration,
    Susan

Thanks so much Susan! I remember you being quite exceptional too.
Yes, it’s courageous to show myself as I am, but it’s been
very gratifying. Hope to see you again before too long…Meryl
