Gratitude Too
Hello all,
It’s been some time since I’ve posted here.
So happy to be so inspired and to find an image
from years back to share on this snowy afternoon.

Wonder

“Everything has its wonders, even darkness and silence
and I learn, whatever state I may be in, therein to be content.”

“We are alone, absolutely alone on this chance planet;
amid all the forms of life that surround us,
not one, excepting the dog, has made
an alliance with us.”

Invincible

there was in me an invincible summer.”

Blue

Blue

The biggest challenge of living on the East End of Long Island is warding off the blues
this time of year. When I’m asked what it’s like here in the winter, I say it’s
quiet and only for those who can create their own  amusement.
After a succession of grey days, I searched my
archives for this very blue January sky
to entertain my imagination
and yes, to keep smiling.
