a Photographic Journey by Meryl

Peace

Peace is available if we choose it.
In spite of chaos and unsolved problems
around us, all is well.
Melody Beattie

PeaceHere is my third post of my new Dream
series that I’ve discovered this winter. This morning
I woke up excited to teach a yoga class for my instructor
who asks me on occasion. Ready to go, I hopped in my car but alas,
the battery was dead; there was no way I could get there so I had to cancel.
For a few hours, I fought the anxiety that creeps in when things don’t
work out or are out of my control. Then I remembered this
quote from a passage called Peace that I read this
morning in my daily reader.

  1. Meryl, This is breathtaking. And the quote…I must memorize this when those unwelcome anxieties hit. Beautiful and soothing. Blessings, Robyn

I’m really impressed with the image you created. I envy you because I my need for control still tells me to make images as realistic as possible. 🙂 Maybe I should force myself to let go of my perfectionist tendency and “mess” it up. Maybe I’ll go for the perfect unnatural image. 🙂

  4. Very beautiful artistic image ~ like a fine oil painting perhaps…. The quote is perfect — and should put it on the fridge – the bathroom mirror and as my screensaver ~ choose peace; all is well : ) Love and hugs ~ rl

  5. Sometimes for some reason, good things happen. Perhaps it was important that your battery is not working at the time.
    Very great post 🙂

  6. Lovely words and beautiful photo!
We can’t avoid these dilemmas that happen, a key is to approach them with as much calm and peace as possible.
