Yes, been warmed, caressed , almost surrendering … If just the chairs were facing out …

no please don’t, the originality of the photo surpasses all rules related to the reciepiant , and what feels uncomfortable for me (being an intovert) may not be the an issue with everyone else.

I saw a picture in a decorating magazine where they hung a twin frame and mattress on a screened porch. I have wanted that for the very reason you write about. Thanks for the “warm” words and sunny pic.

Meryl, It’s amazing how a scene like this — slowly savored through your lens, can stimulate the senses as you have so beautifully described. Very soothing image. I have to agree with Tarek on the chairs — had they been facing out, for me, would symbolize open heart – receptivity toward the world … As they are – seem to say there is still a bit of guarding or hiding. Forgive my deep psyche analysis – just seems to be the mode I’m in these days 😦 Will lighten up soon – and your photo certainly helped me do that – Nice!! xo

Robyn, yes, there are scenes that naturally draw me in so when I’m lucky enough to encounter them and have my camera with me, it’s wonderful. Usually I don’t tamper with what I find, yet perhaps there’s truth to your “analysis”…more opening up required on my part to truly surrender…xomeryl
