did she just ask
if she could
hop on and
fly with me
to the moon?
doesn’t she know
she’s too big
and I’m not
allowed to fly

It is always nice for the child in you to get inside a childs little creative head for a refreshing look at life…

Oh Meryl … somewhat of a new approach for you here in the prose…. it conjured up all kinds of things for me. Truly delightful on many levels. Your creative spirit is rising high! ~ Love the pop of red in his little trike, and his expression … great shot that complements your words in an innocent lovely kind of way:)

For me it brought up some adult patterns of thinking too… all the “rules” we are supposed to follow in life – the “shoulds” that are programmed into us from that early age. Wish I could fly to the Moon for a day or 2 don’t you? xxoo

I love the picture and the wonder in the eyes of the child. He really is awe-stuck about the thought that you want to fly with him on his flying three-wheeler. Or maybe something else? Great expression you have captured and pondered around.

“Pondered around”…I like that..you have such insight regarding the creative process.. and yes, chose this one for the tentative expression and had some fun with it…thanks, Otto!

Can’t you just picture his little wheels turning? Both on his tiny bike, and up there in his thoughtful little noggin!!!

He is also thinking “This fine ride is pimped out, and all the ladies love it, just look at those eight inch rims!!! I am the Mac Daddy of pre-school!!!”

Maybe not, But what 4-year-old diva could resist those killer streamers, or that hot red paint job??? Plus, check out his threads!! See that little skull on his vest? You know the girls always fall for the handsome “Bad Boy”!!!!

Oh Sweetness!!! That was sheer delight! Sometimes, we might have outgrown the right size but may our hearts always wish to fly! 😀 Love, Sharon
