Lifesaver

come
don’t despair

slip through

inflated wings

 float offshore
turn evergreen
lucky charm

abandoned

  1. I really love how the lifesaver is so prominent both in verse and photograph! 🙂

  2. Lifesaver ~ such a metaphor here Meryl. Vibrant yellow and within reach – now a lucky charm as you say…. wonderful post reminding us we can all reach for it at any time… I will try to remember xo

    • Yes, I found its neon green and it’s plastic-ness an interesting contrast to the natural scene….and happy to hear that you were encouraged!!!!

  5. The longing and dreams of a lifesaver! Well seen, well read, well captured and well written. I guess we all have our dreams. That green colour really screams to be noticed. It’s great how you put it in context with the environment and the people in the background. The low point of view and the wide angel really makes for an interesting picture. Great work.
