Super-cute picture! First thing I noticed were the shoes, which look like little footballs. Then you realize that he is looking at something out of the frame. I imagine he is thinking “I wonder if I could climb/ crush/ eat/ tunnel under/ make a fort from/ sleep in/ be friends with/ that thing?”
