  1. This is such a special image Meryl. It’s so nostalgic and charming. The lace effect of the tree’s shadows coupled with the vibrant color contrasts of the blue truck under the canopy of pink is dramatic! Love this one — and your poem says it all! Robyn Lee

  2. A lovely photograph with a nostalgic undertone as Robyn Lee points out. The colours are so alive and the soft focus enhances the feeling of days gone by. You must have work quite a bit in the post processing to get so much details out of the shades. The green, the faded blue and the pink makes for an awesome palette.

    • Thanks for the praise…actually the negative–it was shot on film with a medium format camera—needed very little work—must have hit the exposure using my hand-held meter—all very old-fashioned as you surmised….:)
