a Photographic Journey by Meryl

water blue
rock red
still filled
with dread

step in
spread toes
allay woes

  1. Love the image Meryl. So much depth and complexity – similar to emotions. Your poem’s message great as well – gratitude and love are the onlly way!

Thank you, Robyn…it was taken in Sedona. Arizona…something so mystical there wherever you look…:)

Hi Meryl, here’s a few more lines for this poem. “Wait…now I remember. When I was three, we fell into the creek. My brother and me. I spat and I sputtered, and started to weep. Then we stood up…it was six inches deep!”

  3. Adorable…it reminds me of when my friend fell into an algae-covered creek under a bridge where we were exploring when I was about ten….
