  1. This is a very powerful piece Meryl. I can feel her strong determination and will to overcome the struggle, and her desire to surrender at the same time. Amazing work! 🙂

  2. Thanks Robyn, it’s part of my Phantoms series, a new one that I took on the Isle of Palm
outside Charleston in February when I took my road trip down there…now I’m going to
try to link it with my other Phantoms on my website…

    • Meryl, I saw your show on the other blog, fabulous photos, I really liked the art style. Congratulations.
As Plato said: I know I know nothing.
It’s good to discover a new world of art.

Hi Meryl, I wrote a few more lines for your poem “Letting Go”. “No decisions, left or right. Coasting downhill, pulled by a kite. A storm of thoughts, both black and white. Won’t surrender yet, not quite. Not today, but tomorrow…I might.” I like these ghostly images, they are like a partially blank canvas that seems to invite speculation.

Love it, Jeff! It’s great that it inspired you to pick up your pen.
      Quite a compliment!
